Multi-Unit Owner Reinvests with Prime Taco Time Franchise Location
Veteran owner with the iconic Mexican QSR franchise relocates one of his restaurants to meet consumer demand
TacoTime®, the iconic Mexican food franchise, is committed to reaching customers where they are, even if it means finding a new, more convenient location. Multi-unit owner Greg Markel is relocating his downtown Richland, Washington, location to south Richland to a more convenient location for customers and one that will allow for a drive-thru.
“TacoTime has been around for nearly 60 years and has a solid history of customer loyalty — thanks to great-quality Mexican food at a good price,” says Kevin Gingrich, Brand President and TacoTime franchisee. “Our owners are committed to providing excellent customer service and this move to a more convenient and highly-trafficked area means the residents of Richland have easier access to our made- in-house classics like hand-rolled Crisp Burritos and fresh salsa.”
The new location is near a busy intersection that includes a gas station, according to an article in the Tri-CIty Herald. Markel also owns the popular Kennewick, Washington, location, and is considering investing in a third location in West Richland.
TacoTime’s culture of support makes the transition to multiple units easier
Under the visionary leadership of Kahala Brands™, one of the fastest-growing franchise companies in the world, TacoTime franchisees benefit from world-class training and support. Not only is TacoTime a low-cost restaurant in which to invest, having been recognized by Entrepreneur magazine as a top brand under $150K, but it’s an easy-to-run business for entrepreneurs, whether they own one restaurant or multiple locations. There also aren’t many food brands whose primary leader at the home office is filled by a franchisee.
“Kahala Brands has built a world-class support system that includes everything from employee training to the computerized systems that help the business run as smoothly as possible. And because they are always working to improve these systems, franchise owners benefit from enhancements and upgrades without having to do all the work themselves,” Gingrich says.
TacoTime is ready for the spotlight. With more than 300 locations in the United States and Canada, the Mexican food franchise is ready to break out of its home turf in the Pacific Northwest and hit the national stage. TacoTime is looking for entrepreneurs who are passionate about bringing affordable Mexican food to their communities. TacoTime is led by a veteran franchise team and has a dedicated brand support team as part of the Kahala Brands family.
